St. Charles Family Medical Center will bill most insurance plans for reimbursement, even when we are not participating providers. Please see our insurance link for a list of insurance plans we are contracted with.

Our doctors are on staff at Delnor-Community Hospital (DCH). When delivering your new baby at DCH, notify the staff of the Dr. you have chosen. Your newborn's name will appear on the Dr's roster of patients to see. With a normal delivery and healthy baby typically the first visit with the Dr. at the office will be at 2 weeks. When delivering at a hospital other than DCH an office visit should be scheduled within 7-10 days after delivery. Please bring pertinent hospital records to your baby's first appointment.

Please contact your insurance company within 30 days of your babies' birth and inquire about your preventative coverage. Immunizations are not always a covered benefit. You may be eligible for vaccinations through the state when preventative coverage is not offered through your health insurance for a minimal fee.
